The Salesman. Two rings, one perfect regular season, unlimited phone minutes.
Matt Roemer arrived in 2018, won the title in 2019, then did it again in 2020, which is a rude way to introduce yourself. He is the league's most active trader by a mile, and somehow half his old trade partners ended up owning teams — the man recruits like a pyramid scheme with better ethics. In 2023 he went 14–0 in the regular season and did not win the title, which the league considers the finest thing that has ever happened. Kryptonite: Palmer, 3–7.
Known for
- Back-to-back champion (2019, 2020) as “Bend Over and Goff”
- The 14–0 season that ended without a ring; we bring it up often
- Will trade you anything, then trade to get it back
- Recruited half the league, allegedly to have more trade partners
